I have lived in the same area of South Florida for 55 years, but I still miss the bare winter trees of northern Ohio where I grew up. Photographs provide endless spontaneously natural compositions. The complexity of intertwined trunks and branches creates a network of intersections which outline repeating shapes. They change and evolve in ways that are new, yet ancient.
