"Yo-yos" are rosettes created by sewing the edges of a circular piece of cloth and gathering it at the center. These became the building blocks I used to create a portrait of my daughter, Grace. Her baby blanket formed the base, and the yo-yos were made from her recycled clothing. Photo by Jim Turner |
