I have a passion to illustrate stories - the medium doesn’t matter. The desire to make something visual is the driving force. My growth as an artist has been shaped by four distinct seasons. Watercolor was my first stage of exploration. The next season was pre-computer commercial art, then computer-generated commercial art, created solely with a keyboard and a mouse. And now I’m in my fourth season, which is a strong reaction to the lack of textural sensation in my other work. Fabric and thread have become my storytelling tools. Talking Threads is a brief sample of this exploration. |
