I have a thing for trees.  This was from one of my photos of a pine that has a lot of lichen on its trunk.  There was a strong contrast between the darkness of the trunk with the woods behind it and the minty white of the lichen.

Materials: Lichen on Pine materials include commercial, cotton and silk, hand dyed and recycled fabrics.

Techniques: This piece was fused and machine quilted.
