Comfort, safety, home - - - we all seek shelter in different ways whether it is a physical structure or emotional. The process of creating a nest in a circular shape using straight lines intrigues me.

Materials: cottons, linen, silk, batik, and hand dyes

Techniques: raw edge appliqué, machine piecing, machine quilting with a domestic machine
