This continues my 3-D Explosion series with the use of ribbons and swirls. The flow of the ribbons in this design suggest an angelic shape. When the piece was finished it was quite large, so she became the Queen!

Materials: Hand dyed cottons including some batiks. Assorted threads.

Techniques: Machine Applique and machine quilting.
