I have long admired art quilts and this is my first, done as a tribute to the beautiful supermoon I saw over the Tennessee hills where I live. My goal was to blend fabric as if it were paint, to recreate what I saw and felt at night. The quilting enhances the overall effect of the light on the sky, showing the soft, quiet hills in the moonlight. Photo by Brandon Malone |
