I have always been intrigued by architecture, but as a child growing up in Washington, D.C., I was deprived of skyscrapers since by law no building in the city could be taller than the Capitol. When visiting New York City, I was almost literally knocked out by walking into a parking meter while I was looking up at the wonder of it all. Red City pays homage to my love of this great metropolis. |
